About the Course:

This course is an introduction on the important structure of building and forming chords and scales. It consists of twelve basic lessons. It is excellent for beginners to advanced students. This program is applicable to all instruments, not just piano.

You will be mailed a "starter kit" containing:
a) one binder
b) five dividers
c) flash cards to help with theory and identify individual notes
d) metronome - assisting the rhythm needs
e) Pauline's Gliding Through Scales & Chords
    (New Edition)
 f) Free on-line support

You will receive one lesson per month with attachments to print out and place in your binder. Tabs in binder will be marked scales, chords, technique, theory, score sheets and special songs.
 
Questions through emails will be answered as quickly as possible to help your progress.
 
Your first lessons will focus on music theory, notes, the 'C' scale and root chords.
 
Future lessons will explore triads, majors, minors, 6ths and 7ths, etc.
By lesson six you will have learned six scales and sixty chords. By the end of the course you will be able to sight read and know approximately 168 chords, as well as play your favorite score sheets.
 
Advanced students may continue with customized lessons after completing the first twelve.

The price of this course is $25.00 per lesson (includes disk).
There is a one time $75.00 set up fee (includes kit).
